Generali add more funds to range

Generali International has added more new funds to their range of open-ended investment funds.
For those looking to invest in Europe, the Credit Agricole European long/short equity fund brings the total number of European funds on offer to six. The fund focuses on absolute performance and has very little correlation with traditional investments. On average, the fund has produced an annual return of 15.22% per annum (US$ converted) since launch.
For those looking to invest in global credit, the Thames River Hillside Apex fund has produced annualised returns of 13.95% per annum (US$ converted) since launch and makes an excellent additional to any well-balanced portfolio.
The First State China growth fund, invests primarily in securities issued by companies with either assets in, or revenues derived from the People’s Republic of China that are listed, traded or dealt-in on the regulated markets in China, Hong Kong, the US or in a member state of the OECD.
Since its launch in 1999, the fund has returned over 350% and has been ranked first in its pier group for its performance of 195.5% over the last three years.
The economic outlook for China remains positive. Growth has consistently surprised on the upside and domestic consumption is likely to become the key economic driver as investment and exports gradually decline.
Generali now offer 5 China funds along with a range of Hong Kong, Japan and Asia-Pacific funds.
Another Asian fund available through Generali is the Credit Agricole Asian long/short equity fund. Like their European fund, the Asian fund focuses on absolute performance and has very low correlation with traditional investments. The fund has produced over 41% (US$ converted) over the last 3 years and averaged nearly 10% per annum since launch.
